The capacity of a pressure group is determined by following factors: Leadership

Leadership is one of the essential components of pressure groups, as it has the prime responsibility to protect the interests of the group. The leadership should regularly communicate to the political parties, policy-making agencies and the public. The support of all these three forces is essential.

The leadership should be able to establish credibility and be able to carry public opinion. The leadership should be, therefore, capable of communicating the viewpoint of their group orally, in writing and through dialogue. In short, the success of leadership lies in universalising the particular

interest.
