Density of Roads
The state-wise density of roads has been shown in Fig. 12.3. It may be observed from this figure that the density of roads is the highest in the states of Goa, Kerala, and Punjab, followed by Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh.
