RIVER SYSTEMS OF THE HIMALAYAN DRAINAGE

The rivers originating from the Himalayan and Trans Himalayan regions consist of three river systems, namely: (i) the Indus System, (ii) the Ganga System, and

(iii) the Brahmaputra System (Fig. 3.6).
