Bhimtal

Situated near the town of Bhimtal in Kumaun Divison of Uttarakhand, it is a fascinating lake with an island in the centre. The Bhimtal town, though ancient, was never prominent because of the greater popularity of Nainital. At present, it attracts a large number of the domestic and international tourists.
