♤ However, full implementation of the policy has implications for Indians in Saudi Arabia. Thus:

o The Government has been in regular contact with the Saudi Government towards safeguarding the interests and welfare of the resident Indian community.

o There is a need for a comprehensive policy response at the level of the Union government

o Since the welfare of any of the Indian’s returning from Saudi Arabi lies with their respective state, there is a need to prepare the states for such eventuality and enhance Union State cooperation.
